About Products & Materials
What materials is your jewelry made of? Will it tarnish easily?
Most of our pieces are made with 925 sterling silver as the base, and some styles feature 18K gold plating. A few pieces are made from copper with gold plating. The plating will naturally wear over time depending on how you wear it — that's expected. To keep the color longer, avoid contact with water, perfume, and cosmetics.
Why is your jewelry so much more affordable than traditional fine jewelry?
Because we don't sell "material markup." We don't have expensive storefronts or middlemen, and we work mainly with sterling silver and gold plating. What you're paying for is the design and the handmade work — not brand premiums or expensive gemstones. We want to make jewelry that ordinary people can afford, pieces that carry real emotional weight.
About Customization & Personalization
Can I customize a piece? How does it work?
Yes. Most styles can be customized — engraving, handwriting, fingerprints, coordinates, or short text. Just fill in your request in the "Notes / Personalization" field on the product page when you order. If you need to upload an image or a handwritten note, email our customer care with your order number.
Can I see a preview of the design before it's made?
Unfortunately, we can't provide a fully accurate preview before production — every piece is handmade individually. That said, if you leave a note with your order, we can take a photo of the finished piece and send it to you for confirmation before it ships.
Can customized items be returned or exchanged?
Customized items (engraving, fingerprints, handwriting, etc.) can't be returned or exchanged once production is complete, because they're one-of-a-kind and made only for you. If the mistake is on our end, we'll remake it for free. If you're unsure about anything, just reach out before ordering.
About Sizing & Wear
How do I know what ring or necklace size to order?
For rings, we recommend getting measured once at a local jewelry store — that's the most accurate way. If that's not possible, we have a printable ring sizer on the product page. For necklace lengths: 40cm sits above the collarbone, 45cm sits near the collarbone, and 50cm sits below it. Our chain styles all come with a 2.5cm extender for minor adjustments.
Can bracelet or necklace lengths be adjusted?
Most chain styles come with an extender, so there's some room to adjust. If a style doesn't have one, you can leave a note at checkout with your preferred length — we can customize it, though it may add 1-2 days to production.
About Orders & Shipping
How long until my order ships?
In-stock styles ship within 1-2 business days. Customized pieces take 5-8 business days to make, then ship. You'll get a confirmation email after ordering, and another with tracking info once it's on its way.
What if my tracking info hasn't updated?
International shipping sometimes goes quiet for 3-5 days after leaving the origin country — that's normal. If there's still no update after 7 business days, contact us and we'll look into it. If the package is confirmed lost, we'll reship or refund.
About Returns & After-Sales
Can I return something if I'm not happy with it?
Non-customized items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery, as long as they're unworn and in original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Customized items and final-sale items aren't eligible for return or exchange.
Is there a quality guarantee?
Yes. We offer a 90-day quality guarantee covering manufacturing defects (like broken solder joints or loose settings). Normal wear, oxidation, and plating fade aren't covered. If it's our fault, we'll repair or replace it for free.
About the Brand Itself
What is Bazaarnest?
Bazaarnest is a small studio making jewelry with emotional weight. We don't do expensive fine custom work — we make pieces ordinary people can afford, pieces that can hold the things someone can't bring themselves to say. You bring your story, and we turn it into a piece of jewelry you can carry with you every day.
Where is your jewelry made?
Just me, in a small studio, making things one at a time by hand. Behind every order is something someone is trying to hold onto — so I don't treat it like a production line.
